Born on July 27, 1956, Carl was more than a lifelong resident; he was a cornerstone of the community, a trusted friend, and a cherished part of Havertown’s identity for over three decades.
For more than 30 years, Carl was the driving force behind Carl’s Cards & Collectibles, Inc. on Darby Road. What started as a personal passion for collecting evolved into a vibrant hub that became much more than a retail space. His shop served as a gathering place, a classroom, a refuge, and a living archive of nostalgia.
